ITRM Staff Continue to Support the CACT Early Intervention Programme

ITRM’s John Redfern and Lewis Maslin continued ITRM’s support of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust’s Early Intervention Programme by attending a group activity day on the 6th December 2016. Both team members helped deliver a range of activities including team basketball and badminton.

ITRMs Corporate responsibility programme saw several members of their team take part in different Trust initiatives throughout 2016. In September, Steve Rudd and Danny Hill enjoyed two days with the Trust, helping with a summer football programme and November saw Sally Challoner and Ashleigh Hill help with a day of ice skating, snooker, pool and darts. ITRM’s involvement so far has been to assist with CACT’s Early Intervention Programme, which is designed to aid the recovery of people aged 15-60 with psychosis and is one of the many programmes delivered to the community by the Trust.

Sue Thorpe, ITRM Business Operations Manager, plays a key role in delivering the CSR programme. She commented - ‘We love having the opportunity to support the Trust’s fantastic work in the community and the feedback we have had from staff who have been involved so far has been great. Everyone understands the importance of the projects and the value they provide to those who take part. We have had more and more people ask about how they can get involved and we look forward to working with the Trust throughout 2017 on some of their other programmes.’
