Cyber Security Training
One of the leading causes of cyber attacks is human error. With the ever-increasing digital way of working, also comes an increased risk of cyber attacks. Cyber criminals can target the workforce through phishing, vishing and smishing attempts and are now using advanced methods of attack such as social engineering to impersonate senior colleagues; therefore, make attempts all the more convincing.
Bannerman Rendell came to ITRM to ensure their workforce remained vigilant and received comprehensive training on how to spot such attempts – minimising the risk of falling victim. ITRM’s cyber security training solution utilises easy to navigate software to suit all technological abilities. The training comprises of simulated phishing attack emails sent to Bannerman Rendell’s staff, with a variety of templates to choose from and to test employee recognition across different formats and variations of a phishing attack.
Since implementation, Bannerman Rendell can monitor staff performance and assess the organisation’s overall security awareness against industry baselines. Overall, ITRM’s cyber security training enables Bannerman Rendell to continuously develop cyber awareness; in turn, the security of the organisation.
Web Security
Due to the confidential nature of the insurance sector, it was important for Bannerman Rendell to ensure their web browsing org-wide remained safe and secure. With this, ITRM’s web security solution was instated. The benefits of the web security solution encompass the blocking and protection from harmful, offensive, or inappropriate websites within Bannerman Rendell. In addition to establishing web security, ITRM’s solution can also contribute to increased productivity levels throughout the business with website access control.
Managed Detection and Response
In today’s advancing threat landscape, legacy Antivirus continues to utilise outdated prevention and detection methodology. Bannerman Rendell invested in ITRM’s purpose-built managed detection and response solution to protect the business around-the-clock for today and future threat events. Including a SOC (Security Operations Center), the sole responsibility is taken away from in-house teams at Bannerman Rendell and instead allows ITRM to perform directed investigations – keeping the organisation safe from potential cyber attack threats and weaknesses.
ITRM Inforce
Bannerman Rendell spent valuable time and effort in configuring their Microsoft 365 tenant. To ensure these efforts did not go to waste, they invested in ITRM Inforce to back-up the configurations set within their tenant – keeping things the same as they were when they were originally set up. Furthermore, ITRM Inforce maintains Bannerman Rendell’s security through extending the security configurations, with approved and continually managed security baselines. In the instance a policy is changed or deleted, ITRM Inforce allows quick restoration and recovery.
Furthermore, Bannerman Rendell have prioritised organisational security through ITRM Inforce Advanced whereby an ITRM managed configuration baseline receives monthly updates of which are implemented and communicated to Bannerman Rendell, seeing the organisation make the most of updates available.
