ITRM Support the Charlton Athletic Community Trust Golf Day

On the 29th July 2016, the ITRM team joined the Charlton Athletic Community Trust for their first charity golf day.

The sun shone at the Redlibbetts Golf Course for our Managing Director; Dave White, Head of Service Delivery; John Redfern, Technical Consultant; Daryl Aldridge, and Network Cabling Engineer; Paul Goodwin. Despite their best efforts it has been reported that one player spent more time in the bunker than on the green and another appeared to favour hiding in the woods than playing the course. That said, ITRM’s Daryl won the nearest the pin competition (sponsored by Regular Cleaning) and was presented with a prize by CAFC legend and event host Bob Bolder.

Several teams played to support the Trust, including Whitecode Design, Regular Cleaning and Riverdale Contract Hire & Leasing. ITRM also offered support for the event by sponsoring the longest drive competition on the day, donating an exciting land yachting experience for the longest drive on the 14th hole.

Dave White commented: ‘It was great to take part in the first golf day for the Charlton Athletic Community Trust. They continue to do some fantastic work in the community and we are honoured to be able to support them in every way that we can.’

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and the event concluded with an online auction. Items on offer included the opportunity to watch a Club training session and have lunch with Russel Slade, signed shirts from Jordan Cousins, Nick Pope and Ademola Lookman and a GLL gym membership worth £500.

Fundraising for the event continues. To find out more about this and to have the opportunity to bid on some great auction prizes visit the Charlton Athletic Community Trust website.
